Infrastructure & Security Operational Support
We are responsible for the infrastructure of the entire “K”Line Group including Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha as well as security maintenance and operation. “K”Line Business Systems manages and monitors the infrastructure, such as the servers and networks that make up the foundations of IT, to ensure its stable operation, while thoroughly maintaining and managing security so that IT services can be used continuously with ease. From a wide variety of infrastructure and security plans, we select the best solution and then provide a stable IT environment with the goal of supporting, maintaining, and improving the foundations of various operations.

Infrastructure operations
Infrastructure operations at “K”Line Business Systems can be divided into servers and networks. We request data center vendors to perform server monitoring but daily interaction is essential to ensure continuous and smooth operation. We also provide advanced support in preparation of hardware failures, and implement rapid recovery work and updates when it is necessary to strengthen security or a problem arises amid the daily evolution of technology. In addition to server and network operations, we provide support for applications that are necessary to monitor and ensure the security of infrastructure.
Security operations
“K”Line Business Systems manages security for the “K”Line Group infrastructure and their entire business systems. In particular, since we have a global network, we perform security operations while cooperating with IT managers all over the world. We also study the daily changing security trends and the latest technology, and constantly review the best security measures for the “K”Line Group as well as how to operate them.
