Operating in compliance with ITIL produces various benefits such as “optimizing day-to-day business,” “quick recovery from system problems,” and “shared expertise.” We record inquiries from customers, their problems, requests, and response details each day, and then analyze this information to understand the trends in inquiries and problems so that it will be useful in proactive activities such as “building mechanisms and systems that will not generate inquiries or problems in the first place.”
This recorded data can also be used to quantify the IT service load and workload, which can be used for staff planning (how many people are needed in certain locations) and effectively bring out the various benefits as mentioned above.
We will continue to operate in this way and strive to increase customer corporate value without limiting ourselves to only system support activities.
